October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness, honoring survivors, and building stronger community responses. In recognition of this important month, the DBH Training Institute is partnering with the DC Office of Attorney General (OAG) and DC Safe to present a collaborative webinar, Pathways to Protection: Civil Legal Remedies and Community Resources for Victims of Domestic Violence.

This webinar will provide an opportunity to learn about the legal pathways and community resources available to victims of domestic violence in the District of Columbia, and will feature presenters from OAG and DC Safe.
Objective:
At the end of this training, participants will be able to: 
  1. Identify civil legal protections available to victims of domestic violence in the District of Columbia
  2. Connect survivors to appropriate legal and community resources
Intended Audience:
Behavioral health providers, case managers, social workers, survivor advocates, community members
