Cognitive behavioral therapy for psychosis (CBTp) is recognized as an important tool in treating persons with psychosis and yet it is not often offered at crucial times and in crucial settings to people experiencing psychosis. By presenting an overview of CBTp, it is hoped that the audience will begin to make use of some basic principles of CBTp and be motivated to seek out additional training and resources.

You will receive a link for the Grand Rounds by email before the Grand Rounds. All participants are requested to complete a post lecture survey. Non-psychologists must complete a post attendance survey in order to receive an attendance certificate. There is no registration fee.

  2. Explain the basic therapeutic process and approaches used in CBTp
  3. Describe the use of curiosity and collaboration as an essential part of CBTp
