Mental
Health First Aid is an early intervention public education program. It teaches
adults how to recognize the signs and symptoms that suggest a potential mental
health challenge, how to listen nonjudgmentally and give reassurance to a
person who may be experiencing a mental health challenge, and how to refer a
person to appropriate professional support and services. Certificate issued on successful completion from National Council for Mental Wellbeing.

Session Notes:
Participants are required to complete two hours of self-paced online course work in order to attend the virtual session. You will not be admitted if the pre-work is not completed. You will need to accept the invite from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing for the pre-work. You will be unregistered if the pre-work is not completed within a week and your spot will be given to someone else.
