This course is designed to prepare attendees who work within the DBH system to provide appropriate supports and intervention, so people can overcome traumatic experiences. Trauma is widespread and harmful but with public supports and intervention, people can overcome health problems.

This course focuses on the working concept of trauma and a trauma-informed approach and explains how to develop a shared understanding of these concepts that would be acceptable and appropriate across an array of service systems.
