Since behavioral health is not the primary function of a school, it is a host setting for school-based clinicians. How can we navigate the obligation to our clients, the school community, and our employer? In this training, participants will identify and analyze the clinical and ethical implications of providing student centered services among competing needs and expectations. Participants can expect didactic presentations, case studies, and experiential learning activities to help build their knowledge base on this topic.

Objective:

  1. Participants will be able to describe how their role fits into a school environment
  2. Participants will be able to describe school structure as it relates to their role
