Description:

Learners participating in the ASARS iCAMS Training for Administrative Functions will learn basic navigation of the iCAMS system. This includes how to create, locate, and use both Client and Staff records. Users will learn how to assign staffs to consumers, assign staffs to supervisors, setup staff profiles to use signature pads, and other general record maintenance related tasks. Basic instruction in the use of the Managed Care functionality is included and users will learn how to view eligibility, benefit plans and authorizations, and viewing and downloading 835s.
Objective:

At the end of iCAMS Admin Training   users should be able to:

  • Search for both clients and staff within the iCAMS System
  • Assign Staff to clients in the system
  • Add new staff members
  • Set up electronic signatures for staff
  • Remove or terminate staff within iCAMS
  • Schedule, Begin, Complete, and Approve Services
  • Request Authorizations
  • Navigate Managed Care including determining client eligibility, assign benefit plans and review and download remittance advices (835 files.)

Driving Directions:
64 New York Avenue is located at the intersection of Florida, New York and First Streets, NE. Metro: Take the red line to the Noma/Gallaudet University (previously called New York Avenue) metro stop. Walk west on N Street and turn right at 1st Street NE. Cross over New York Avenue. You will see a large clock tower with the number 64. Enter through the gate and walk toward the first entrance of the building.
Parking:
There is a small parking lot with very limited available spaces. However, there is street parking in the blocks adjacent to 64 NY Avenue, but be mindful of posted restrictions.
